  5. The EMIS Accounts Receivable Management module is designed to facilitate the
  6. processing of Accounts Receivable files from their opening through payment and
  7. closing. The system will produce statements whenever and however they are
  8. needed and provides both summarized and detailed aging reports by customer,
  9. type of customer, or customers within a salesperson. Accounts receivable system
  10. is multicompany, multidivisional, multidepartment, and multicurrency. The
  11. posting of transactions is both easy and flexible with complete audit trail
  12. reports provided. Cash can be applied automatically or by specific invoice, and
  13. miscellaneous cash can be applied easily. The use of multiple currencies can be
  14. handled by the system including proper General Ledger entries for exchange rate
  15. gains or losses.
